He said, as the commander-in-chief, he is tasked with traveling and coordinating major State activities including holding meetings in and outside of the country.

“I have heard some people say that I am traveling a lot. That is no problem because I am the chief agent of Kenya. My work includes traveling and working for my people whom I govern,” Ruto said.

President Ruto added that it is not easy to manage a country at this particular time when things are difficult.

He, however, noted that he was fully prepared to handle his job well until when the country will be satisfied.

To defend his trips, Dr. Ruto said he had secured many good things for the country including bilateral talks as well as jobs for millions of young Kenyan graduates.
