“I want to disclose to you that today morning I called my worthy competitor and we agreed that we would respect the outcome,” he recounted.

And before he showed up at the Bomas of Kenya for the presidential declaration, his home was a beehive of activities.

Several pictures leaked from the home and outside showing a complete presidential motorcade ready to take him to the Bomas venue where both camps were awaiting the electoral voter results.

“I mean before we came here, everybody knew the result of the election. You just had to take a simple calculator and to the math from the public portal,” he added.

When Ruto was being driven to the Bomas of Kenya Grounds, his key rival, Raila Odinga, was no where to be seen and no motorcade was near his home.
