Friday, November 12, 2021 –Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has today conducted another opinion poll asking his social media followers to give their views on the leadership of Deputy President William Ruto.

In the poll, Mutahi wanted to establish the performance of William Ruto as the substantive deputy president of the Republic of Kenya. His followers took to comments section with varied observations where ‘No’ carried the day.

“Has Deputy President William Rut failed? I think he has,” Mutahi posed.

Those who said ‘No’ meant Ruto had not failed much as the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya.

The poll saw over 700 participants take part where 48.8 percent held the view that Ruto had not failed the country, 41.1 percent opined that the DP had failed while 3.1 percent thought he was in between.

From last month, Prof Mutahi, who is openly campaigning for Raila Odinga, has conducted several opinion polls which seem to put Ruto ahead of the rest almost in everything.

However, pundits still think Mr. Odinga is lagging behind Ruto just because he has not clarified whether he will be on the ballot or not. His imminent December declaration might tilt the tide against the DP in a very short time.

Raila and Ruto are the two front runners in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta who is winding up his second and last term in a few months to come.
