Ruto Speaks of Sabotage, Raila Responds Immediately

Monday, January 1, 2024 -President William Ruto has blamed the opposition of sabotage.
Speaking this during new year celebrations held in the Statehouse on Monday January 1, Ruto said his manifesto is not working as he had planned because of his political rivals.
He mentioned that there is a hidden scheme from the opposition wing fighting hard to curtail his plans for the country.
Ruto added that the opposition, through the Judiciary, was working to make him look weaker.
Dr. Ruto argued noted that there was a deliberate sabotage of his Bottom-Up transformation agenda through political division, conflict, anarchy, and endless litigations.
But in a different address on the same day, Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga said the Kenya Kwanza regime led by President William Ruto has become a curse upon the country.
In his end-of-year statement, the Azimio leader said that next year, Kenyans should be ready to stand against the current regime.
“The Kenya Kwanza regime has become a curse upon the nation. Let us join hands and stop this regime from ruining our beloved land and our pride and dignity as citizens,” he said.
The opposition leader said that in 2024, they will organise with the support of like-minded Kenyans to stop the oppression and exploitation by the Ruto administration.
