Sunday, July 11, 2021 -United Democratic Alliance Presidential aspirant William Ruto has fired back at Raila Odinga accusing him disorganization.
Ruto’s sentiments are coming just a day after Mr. Odinga fired a salvo at the DP while attending the burial service of Mama Dorcas Ntimama – wife to the late William Ntimama – in Narok on Saturday July 10. Odinga was heard cautioning the Maa community against blindly following the DP whom he described as a Wolf in a sheep’s skin.
He narrated to the mourners how Mr. Ruto was coming to raid their granaries at night and they now ought to remain awake lest them lose all their belongings and properties.
And in a similar rebuttable aimed directly at the former Premier during Sunday service at Huruma African Holy Ghost Christian Church in Nairobi, Ruto claimed that Odinga has been key in the fall of Jubilee Party same to their NASA coalition. He also wondered why the opposition chief could not unite his team mates ahead of 2022 without assistance from the president.
Ruto warned that should they continue fighting each other and looking for an outsider to bring them together, they risk another humiliation in 2022 general elections only 12 months away.
“They are all greedy and fighting for their own benefits. Some are talking of bullets as others are crying over money. The president was elected to serve all Kenyans, not five, six people,” Ruto addressed.
The DP further added that after learning that their Building Bridges Initiation BBI had reached a sad end, they are now desperately looking for Uhuru’s hand in their unity.
He therefore expressed his confidence in beating them hands-down saying it is this kind of disorganization that also costed them in 2013 and 2017.
Odinga and his fellow NASA co-principals have been blaming each other now for two months over who should fly their flag. Musalia and Kalonzo Musyoka are also blaming Odinga for denying them their fair share of political parties funds.
