DEPUTY PRESIDENT WILLIAM RUTO MAY LOSE even more if the Building Bridges Initiative BBI Bill completely flops.

Reacting to news that Deputy President William Ruto with his lieutenants were happy after judges poured cold water on the Bill, Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo has described such celebrations as political rather than objective.

Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.

“There is God who loves Kenya Immeasurably. May God’s name be praised forever,” Ruto commented shortly after the High Court made the ruling on Thursday.

Lawyer Mutula however, has argued that the BBI Bill was going to benefit the DP a lot if it passed; and wondered why they are celebrating their own woes.

“I don’t see the main reason why the so-called Tangatanga brigade and the Deputy president Dr. William Ruto are so happy about the verdict given on Thursday by the Five High Court judges on BBI,” he remarked.

The lawmaker added that both Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta would lose nothing if that Thursday ruling remains as it is.

“What Ruto doesn’t know is that BBI would have benefited him the most in 2022 but now that it has flopped, he risks being left in the cold by the two political heavyweights,” Kilonzo told one of the local dailies.

A five judge bench last Thursday rejected the calls for the Constitutional (Amendment) 2020 Bill by questioning the legality of the entire process which is being used to force for a Referendum.
