Monday, January 24, 2022 –The Hustler camp has hired services of ex-Citizen Tv news anchor Hussein Mohamed as their new Head of Communication in Deputy President campaigns.
Hussein, who left Citizen Tv voluntarily at the height of his career will be joining Ruto’s ever swelling Hustler house as their new communication strategist.
The eloquent anchor will run the office throughout Ruto’s campaign period upto and not limited to the August 9 polls when the president-elect will be announced by IEBC.
Hussein was unveiled by UDA Party on Monday January 24 after he moderated United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Parliamentary Group meeting today where Ruto was meeting with MPs and stakeholders allied to his camp.
The DP shared photos with Hussein at his official residence in Karen; alongside MPs Kimani Ichung’wah and Ndindi Nyoro all who welcomed the seasoned media personality into their team.
“Hussein Mohammed, the renowned TV journalist, has been appointed Head of Communications in the William Ruto Presidential Campaign. Welcome to the Hustler team,” he tweeted.
Earlier on, rumours were rife that Dr. Ruto was re-hiring his former Political adviser Dr. Barrack Muluka but this turned out to be untrue when Hussein was finally unveiled.
Muluka would then react while appearing on Citizen Tv show at night saying he has been receiving so many calls from people finding out whether he was headed back to Ruto’s camp. He then wished Hussein all the best and indicated that he is still willing to work with Musalia Mudavadi if called upon.
