Monday, January 17, 2022 –Deputy President William Ruto’s ally and lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has distanced himself from Ruto endorsements.
The vocal lawyer ‘combatively’ tweeted saying those linking him to DP Ruto’s endorsement had misunderstood his opinion pieces on social media.
He said that not at anyone time had he supported Ruto for 2022 presidency and that those linking him to such claims are desperate ODM members who want to twist facts in favour of what they think is right for them.
He asked ODM Party members and politicians to separate his opinions from his political stand which he is yet to declare.
“I’m not running for office. I’m a private citizen with small law practice.
“I have not declared my stand. I’m neutral 100%. I have not endorsed DP Ruto or any other politician…yet 40% of ODM’s and its attack dogs direct their anger/frustrations/despair at me…WHY?” stated Ahmednassir.

The outspoken lawyer is being linked to Deputy President William Ruto’s hustler camp because of his social media posts which mostly seem to lean towards the second in command.
Further, the city lawyer has represented Ruto in the Weston Hotel ongoing saga.
