Monday, December 13, 2021 –Murang’a County Women Representative Sabina Wanjiru Chege now says she is nolonger afraid of being associated with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Addressing media in her area during a local function over the weekend, Ms Chege said Raila was sold in Mt Kenya Region as a worst man who should never be given a chance to rule the country but she has come to learn that he is a humble human being who is worthy being considered to succeed Uhuru.
She said there is nolonger risk in voting for Odinga this coming term now that he has fought many battles some which he has lost and giving him an opportunity to run the country for one term is not asking for too much.
“Initially, that conversation could not happen. It’s good to give him a chance. He has heard an experience and he is nolonger excited about leadership,” Chege noted.
Chege added that Oginga senior also helped Jomo Kenyatta become the first president and its time to pay back.
She however said, as leaders, they will still meet their people on the ground and listen to what they want to have as Uhuru’s replacement.
Chege divulged that between now and February next year they are going to engage a lot to know which party will be best for their region.
The MP argued that what most Mt. Kenya residents were told about Odinga has been confirmed to have been propaganda what they want to correct before 2022.
