Monday, October 17, 2022 –A loquacious Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has inched close to dating the lady who asked for marriage.
Through his fast-growing social media handles, MP Salasya today Monday October 17 invited for a lunch the desperate lady who begged for his hand in marriage.
Ms Lydia Ronad on Saturday went to the street with a placard pleading to meet the newly-elected MP of Mumias East who had openly stated on a TV interview that he was still single and searching for a God-fearing lady.
And on the placard which Lydia was displaying on the road to catch the attention of the MP, she had expressed her desire to get married to him saying she has all the qualifications he had asked for.
“I promise him that if chooses me to be his wife I won’t disappoint him,” Lydia is heard saying.
“I will be happy to meet you,” she added.
And in response, MP Salasya would hilariously promise to meet her soon for a chat and see if things could work or not.
“Warembo na Salasya nawapenda sana .Will reach you and say hi. Mr President Williams Ruto. I remember you asking me kama nimepata sasa when you visited us in the, naona mambo si mbaya vile kunaenda. God bless Kenya. Our country is blessed,” he responded in jest.
But later on Monday October 17 morning, Salasya who now appeared to have made up his mind, promised to invite the girl to Parliament premises for lunch.
“It takes courage and brave to speak your mind in broad light .I congratulate her for the steps .May God Bless this young Girl. You deserve the best .Tomorrow I invite you for a lunch in the parliament buildings. You will have a privilege to have lunch with members,” he stated.
Salasya is a new comer in Parliament now serving the people of Mumias East. He replaced Benjamin Washiali who retired early this year.
