Government, through Ministry of Internal Security, has weighed in on the viral cartoon depicting President William Ruto in many ways.
Principal Secretary for Internal Security, Raymond Omollo, today Thursday, broke the silence on increased debate on possibility of the authorities raising any legal action against the person drawing the trending Ruto cartoons on social media, especially, X Platform.
Equally, many have raised questions on the government’s response to the maker of the silhouettes and whether he/she has contravened any law what, today, the State said it has no intentions to hunt for the Kasongo cartoons inventor.
“The level of creativity of Kenyans is quite amazing and interesting. It demonstrates what is possible with technology. They can even look for ways to monetize it in a manner that is not ridiculing,” PS Omollo stated.
Omollo was responding to a question raised by one of the viewers of the show who inquired about the the of the cartoon maker.
