Wednesday, July 26, 2023 –Court sitting in Nairobi has today Wednesday ordered an arrest of Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja after snubbing court sessions.

The Court, therefore, directed the police to hunt down the lawmaker for contempt of court over her tax-related charges.

She was expected to make her way into the court room today Wednesday July 26 but, instead, she was a no-show.

The lawmaker, on April 13 this year, pleaded not guilty to fresh tax evasion charges after the prosecution amended the charge sheet in the sh 14.5 billion tax evasion case.
