Friday, August 20, 2021 -Seven-judge bench is expected to deliver the much awaited Building Bridges Initiative ruling today by afternoon.

This is after Lawyer Jams Orengo and Otiende Amollo recently moved to the Appellate Court to resuscitate the BBI draft bill which had been reduced to an illegality by the High Court.

Justice Hannah Okwengu.

Focus now today shifts to the judges who need to finally tell the country what next with or without the BBI even as politicians continue expecting the ruling to favouir their side. Already former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has said if the draft bill will be thwarted today(Friday),he will not move to the Supreme Court but instead focus his energy on 2022 plans.

Lawyers who will be at the center of this ruling will be led by Justice Daniel Musinga who is the current president of the Court of Appeal. Members always describe him as a soft spoken  but firm legal mind who has been in this industry for quite sometime now.
