Wednesday, March 24, 2021 -Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party has answered back Cleophas Malala just moments after he was removed from his Senate position.

Responding to Musalia Mudavadi today, ODM Party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna wondered why someone from ANC would blame them for firing Malala when just the other day, top ANC officials wanted to expel him over gross misconduct.

“You tried to behead the guy and now you are crying because we took away his shoes?” Sifuna wrote.

ODM today decided to strip Malala of his Deputy Minority leader position which had been donated to him when he was still supporting Raila Odinga’s party despite being an ANC elected senator.

Mr. Sifuna has asked the Amani National Congress ANC Party members not to pretend that they are crying after Malala’s removal since they wanted to harm the senator even more when afew months ago was fully supporting Raila Odinga.

Speaking shortly after his ouster, Malala mentioned that apparently Raila’s NASA got angry over the Matungu by-election and therefore opted to replace him.

Former Senator Kakamega, Boni Khalwale reacted to the news saying it was because of loyalty to Raila Odinga that Malala was appointed to the position and therefore his removal should not come as a surprise.
