Wednesday, April 5, 2023 –Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has dared Kenya Kwanza politician Kimani Ichung’wah to invite the International Criminal Court ICC officials into the country.

Responding to Ichung’wah’s daylong threats that Raila Odinga, with his allies, deserve a thorough monitoring on their conduct, Lawyer Sifuna has asked him to hasten the resolve which he has described as a scarecrow.

President William Ruto (left) and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa during a past church service at PCEA Church in Mwiki on 24/3/19.

“One thing I truly admire about these Kenya Kwanza clowns like Ichungwa is their audacity. Who are you scaring with ICC? Write all the letters you want. If ruto got away with all the overwhelming evidence, that court will never jail anyone. Andika barua nitakupea stamp,” he answered.

This is after the Majority Leader in the National Assembly, Kimani Ichungw’ah, today Wednesday afternoon, hinted at inviting the International Criminal Court ICC to monitor the opposition’s activities in the country.

Ichungw’ah said he will be floating the ICC agenda before the Kenya Kwanza parliamentary group meeting set to be held next week.

If adopted, the Kikuyu MP says he will formally petition the Hague-based court to begin active investigations against Odinga.

“Blackmail us, and we will tell you this is blackmail. If you want to create anarchy, we will call it anarchy. And that is why I have said we will propose an agenda to our PG meeting next week that we write to the ICC to take measures to ensure that Raila Odinga and his sponsors do not slide our country back to anarchy,” he went on.

The majority leader claimed the opposition was hellbent on causing bloodshed, chaos, and destruction of property to force itself into their government which it didn’t help campaign for.
