Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has praised Kenyans on X for demonstrating that they own power and not the political class.
In a fresh Wednesday statement, the lawyer stated that Kenyans had finally managed to outwit the State and that the pressure is heavy and intense to put to order those mismanaging their resources.
“My message to Kenyans is that you should not allow to be threatened by any leader,” Edwin Sifuna remarked.
He was saying this just a day after a section of leaders led by President William Ruto, in Mombasa, castigated social media users in the country for undermining government’s efforts to develop projects.
As Ruto took issue with those who fought Adani Group out of the JKIA and Ketraco deals, Mining and Blue Economy CS Ali Hassan Joho warned that those found attacking Government on social media will be dealt with.
