Tuesday, May 16, 2023 –Politicians Mike Mbuvi Sonko and Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly MCA Robert Alai are embroiled in a fierce online spat over their wealth.

Just hours after Mike flaunted millions of cash stuffed at his home and bragged about  his an unmatched wealth, MCA Robert Alai has come out to fault the businessman for trying too hard to prove his riches on social media.

“The fact that you can operate a camera and display a ward of cash doesn’t make you rich. You can be having some wads of cash while upstairs, wewe ni maskini wa ki akili. Jamani, tafuteni knowledge and wisdom. Gig piny bura oloyo. Never seek validation from netizens,” he stated in a post seen by this writer.

In a quick rejoinder, Sonko repulsed him by reminding the MCA that he will be available to help give him a better send off when he dies.

“Maisha ni yangu. Wewe nyamaza mknd wewe. Yako ya MCA umesaidia nayo nani?

“Na bado ujue I can still go out of my way for anyone including yourself since you were once my buddy God forbid akikuchukua mbele yangu, I will ensure you are buried like a king.

“Together with your funeral committee, we shall preserve your body in the morgue for additional 3weeks as I construct a modern house for you in your shags where you will be laid to rest,” he furiously responded to Alai.

Yesterday Monday May 15, Mike Sonko started to flood his social media pages with wads of dollars and sh 1000 new notes while ranting on how someone had disrespected him as a broke man.

Sonko would resort to take videos of huge amounts of monies he keeps in his home suit cases as petty cash. He went on to brag that this was just part of pocket change that he uses to fuel guzzlers and to entertain his women around the city.

The former Nairobi governor sparked mixed reactions on social media after he took this step and his followers could not stop talking.

According to Vlogger Edgar Obare, Sonko was agitated by one of his in-laws who had claimed that he is an irresponsible man who cannot take care of daughters.

Obare promised to release the full dossier today Tuesday May 16.
