Thursday, March 28, 2024 –Former Nairobi County boss Mike Mbuvi Sonko’s fuel-guzzler was fed with Diesel instead of Petrol fuel forcing him to spend hours at a petrol station.
Making the update on his official Twitter handle on the night of Wednesday March 27, anangry Sonko complained that an attendant had fueled his car with Diesel.
“Huyu jamaa amenikatisia sana instead ya kuweka petrol kwa gari ameniwekea diesel. Buree kabisa,” he ranted online.
The car was seen being pushed to the garage for draining and cleaning so that it could not damage its expensive engine.
Chatting with the attendant who argued that he had not done that deliberately but because he assumed the car was parked on the right pump and started feeling it, Sonko only said he had forgiven him and that he will also pay the Diesel cost despite the mixup.
“Kwa leo nimekusamehe na nitaklulipa hiyo sh 10,000,” he added.
At some point, Mr. Sonko was seen asking a certain bodaboda at the Petrol station to ferry him home now that the car had damaged.
