Sossion Lays Foundation for his Senatorial bid Through UDA

Tuesday, September 7, 2021 -Former Kenya Union of Teachers KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion has kicked off his 2022 campaigns for Bomet Senatorial seat.

Sossion, an ODM Party Nominated Senator, today Tuesday hosted a section of elders fetched from Motigo Sub-county and seized the opportunity to lay a roadmap for his next political ambitions.

He reported that the elders were honest and urged him to support William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance UDA Party ahead of 2022 contest.

“They say charity begins at home, today in my residence, the elders of Motigo Sub location in Bomet Central have decided to endorse my senate aspirations in 2022.

“The elders have advised me to stick on the prize and avoid backing any politician but to support the Deputy President William Ruto in his 2022 presidential bid as well as popularizing the newly formed party UDA,” Sossion updated his Facebook account.

This therefore means, Sossion will soon be partying ways with his ODM family which nominated him to the current position in Parliament. This however could also cause acrimony between the two parties.

Should he choose to heed to the advice of his elders, Sossion will have to contend with the reality of falling out with ODM over disciplined reasons.
