Friday, October 29, 2021 –Signs of Justin Muturi and Deputy President William Ruto working together are nigh as the former has hinted.
In a report carried by People Daily on Friday October 29 morning, Speaker Muturi is gearing towards joining Ruto’s Hustler camp following his sentiments while touring Bomet County in Rift Valley Region on Thursday October 28.
“I come from a place called from Mbeere and you know I am also eyeing a seat, if we unite together are they really going to beat us? They are not, we are going to win,” said Muturi amidst cheers from the assembly.
Though he did not make any naming, his speech was evident that he wants to unite with the DP ahead of the 2022 contest which he says can only be earned through unity of leaders.
“Kitu tu nataka kuwahakikishia ni kwamba mambo ni shwari and nikisema yako shwari najua mnafahamu, sisi ni watu wa kusonga na lazima tusonge and kwa sababu yote panapo baraka za mwenyezi Mungu,” the National Assembly Speaker said.
He seized the opportunity to urge each and everyone from the Ruto backyard to remain united at this time when they are required to play a role in electing who takes over the leadership of this nation after Uhuru.
“Msikuwe watu wa kutishwatishwa…naona kwa nyuso zenu nyinyi sio watu kutishwa sisi ni watu wa kusonga mbele,” he said.
Mr. Muturi was making the remarks during his maiden tour in the South Rift which is a Ruto stronghold. He had gone there to open the new Dr. Laboso Center mini chambers and to launch a five year Assembly strategic plan.
