Monday, January 9, 2023 –Kaspsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has cautioned members of Kalenjin community against allowing homosexuality in their territory.
Reacting on the murder of Eldoret-based LGBTQ Activist, Edwin Chiloba who was recently found murdered by people who later turned out to be his close partners, Sudi has today Monday January 9 stated that ‘gaysm and lesbianism’ are evil practices which cannot be assimilated in Kenya.
He went ahead to urge locals to embrace pure African culture which respects the dictates of God through the Bible.
Sudi further warned that adopting evil foreign cultures will not only erode values of an African boy and daughter but also the whole continent; hence attracting the wrath of God.
“There is a young man who was murdered because of issues to do with gay rights. There are claims that he was murdered because of a love triangle. He had two boyfriends…this is evil that is happening in US and other places and must be condemned,” Sudi stated.
The MP led other leaders in condemning such lifestyles and urged those who want to engage in such ugly way of doing things to do it from elsewhere.
“As leaders, we are strongly condemning such lifestyle. If you want to engage in such evil thing, please do elsewhere. . .I was surprised that these gay rights activists are not condemning the murder but because the deceased was gay,” he added.
By yesterday Sunday January 8, police confirmed that a close friend to Chiloba, Jackton Odhiambo, had confessed to them that he was behind the killing after he busted the former with another partner.
