They Called for Salaries but They are Busy on X Pretending

Chris Akali

Your legislator is now all over the media pretending that he or she never asked for a salary increment.

These examples of human beings think we are as useless as themselves. How can an MP come here telling us that they did not know about salary increment as announced by the SRC? They think we are that useless? They believe we fo not think.

“We never asked for any salary increment.

“Let that money be channelled to the needy children of this country who are not able to access education.

“An additional Kshs. 360,000 to my payslip as a senator can not be a priority when we are grappling with such tough and unbearable economic times as a country!” Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka announced.

Another Senator going by the name of Methu Muhia also joined his brother in crime to purport that he did not ask for the increase. They both sound as criminals.

“I never asked for a pay rise. I urge other members of the Senate and National Assembly to reject the increase considering the President’s call to reduce government expenditure. Such an increase is untimely and will just end up overburdening the taxpayers,” Methu wrote on X.

Kenyans should know that all these MPs and senators now playing holly are not as clean as they are attempting to portray. These are people who are playing with your minds.

They pushed for the salary increment together and they are together happy. Claiming that they didn’t ask for this is deceit of the highest order.

Posting on X their late announcements on how they didnt want salaries is deceitful. They had time to stop this in Parliament not on Facebook.
