This is how I will punish Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022, Ruto leaks his top secrete

Deputy President William Ruto has hinted at mobilizing a force that will leave both Uhuru Kenyatta and his Kieleweke faction badly bruised.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with Joe Ageyo of Citizen Tv, Ruto mentioned that what the likes of David Murathe were doing would eventually cost them dearly since he is going to capitalize on that to punish them.

He, in particular, pinpointed their Party Vice Chair Murathe whom he claimed had formed a clique within Jubilee Party with an intention of hijacking a party they little know how it was brought together.

“Jubilee is not functioning as a party. We folded about 12 political parties to form Jubilee. Unfortunately, the party has been hijacked by busybodies, conmen and brokers like David Murathe who have no clue on our philosophy. Their word has become the party position.

He went ahead to castigate several juniors in the ruling party for launching insults at him despite being as senior member in government terming this as obvious and deliberate efforts to undermine his office.

“There is something wrong with juniors who insult their seniors. If it becomes hopeless and Jubilee is hijacked by the brokers, then waswahili wanasema, ‘kuvunjika kwa mwiko sio mwisho wa kupika’. (The wise men say that breaking a cooking stick should not be a reason for not cooking),” Ruto stated.

Likening what was happening in their party to mistakes the first ruling party KANU made, DP Ruto said chasing so many people from the party was an advantage he was going to capitalize on to beat Uhuru hands down.

According to him, evicting strong party members from the party in the guise of punishing those who supports him, was going to leave Uhuru helpless and in that process make those who are outside the party big and stronger. He was saying this in relation to the ongoing purge where many of his allies had already been wiped away from plum party positions.

“When you remove so many people from the party, at one point, you will realise there are so many out outside than they are inside and this will force them to come together and dislodge you from power. That is what exactly happened to KANU,” Ruto recounted.

The second in command went ahead to accept that he was no longer strong with powers as before and that this should not make people to call for his resignation since there was still hope of mending fences with Mr. Kenyatta.
