President William Ruto now says he knows many places across the country and that is why he can mention village markets and roads by name almost anywhere he tours.
In a video clip shared by a section of bloggers and journalists on Thursday, Ruto admits that, though, many people take him for a joke whenever he lists off-head all the roads in many parts of this country, he fairly knows the areas by name.
“You know many people think this is a joke but this is a job I applied for. Its serious business. I fairly know places in Central Kenya just like I would mention roads in North Eastern and Western Regions,” said Ruto.
The head of State has, the better part of this month, been made a laughing stock due to his culture of listing roads off-head whenever he tours upcountry areas.
He mentions them by name with an assurance that they will be constructed very soon what many see as his usual political gymnastics.
