Collins Leitich, a resident of Uasin Gishu County, was arrested for setting up his own Police Station which was operational for the last 6 months,
Bro even that station had a grilled Cell and he made arrests every day.
The bigger question now is, how did he manage to put up all this structure for all this time without area police noticing? Does this mean that Alshabaabs, can as well, take months constructing an illegal police station somewhere in the country, paint and fully equip it. Then start running the station for two years before authorities can notice? Do we really have a serious country?
However, I personally support Leitich for the initiative. If he constructed a fully operational police station and even arrested criminals around the area and no police officer or even a local administrator detected or questioned this, then it means the authorities themselves had abandoned their duty.
Leitich had to step in and help restore sanity and security. Nothing wrong with that. He needs to be supported. We are correcting the country.
