TIFA: Mudavadi and Moses Kuria Come Last in Ruto’s Cabinet

Thursday, July 13, 2023 –Chief Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria are the worst performing public officers in William Ruto’s government.

In a poll result dropped today Thursday July 13, Trends and Insights For Africa TIFA indicated that Mr. Musalia Mudavadi had only managed a performance score of 1 percent same to CS Kuria.

Aden Duale, Eliud Owalo and Treasury’s Pro.f Junguna Nding’u also scored each a percent in the performance as posted by TIFA Research Firm, today.

However, it emerged that fewer than half of all Kenyans are prepared to identify any senior national government official as the “best performing” so far.

The most frequently mentioned is Interior CS Prof. Kithure Kindiki (34%), with only two others receiving more than minimal such positive recognition: Susan Wafula (Health) given 6% and Ezekiel Machogu (Education) getting 7% each.

“Another four-in-ten (40%) feel that no such senior official is “the best performing,” the excerpt reads in part.

In the report released this Thursday, therefore, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki remains the best-performing Cabinet Secretary in the current government.

The former Tharaka Nithi Senator had an overall score of 34 per cent; this being a 8 percent increase from the previous score of March.

“At least one-third of Kenyans mention Kindiki Kithure as the best performing Cabinet Secretary,” read the report.

Education counterpart Ezekiel Machogu comes in second having a score of seven per cent; this being what he had in earlier rankings.

Making it to the top three is Health CS  Susan Nakhumicha Wafula who had a score of six per cent compared to one per cent in the last polls.

President Ruto was given a C+ Plus score performance with 56 percent of Kenyans feeling the country was headed in the wrong direction over his taxing leadership.
