Friday May 14, 2021 -Murang’a High School Student who emerged number one in the just announced KCSE results will be awarded with a new car. Details have emerged.
Robinson Wanjala Simiyu who garnered a total of 87.334 points in KCSE examinations and topped countrywide will be gifted the brand car for his hard work that enabled him lead the form four 2020 class, which according to records, had a total of 747,171 students.
Homenews.co.ke has also confirmed that the school led by his principal had already offered him a cheque worth of sh 150,000. Moreover, Mr. George Mburu -an alumni – gave him sh 50,000.
“I felt elated after receiving the good news. We are extremely proud of your exemplary performance and for raising the profile of my former school so high. You have shown us and the world that truly, putting God first, resilience and hard work pays,” Mburu stated.
During his many interviews with the media after Monday May 10 exam announcement made by Prof George Magoha, the candidate promised to perform better is his medicine studies at the University of Nairobi UoN. His aspiration is to become a top surgeon by profession.
Those who followed him closely countrywide are Wasonga Allan Udoma and Sharon Chepng’eno both who tied with 87.173 points.
