Sycophancy took over 100 Members of Parliament to Addis Ababa Ethiopia in the guise of supporting Raila Odinga.
Political Analyst Barrack Muluka who was on Citizen Tv on Saturday night said, there was no any amount of patriotism in the gesture shown by those who accompanied Mr. Odinga to the African Union Commission elections in Ethiopia.
Muluka said everyone seen in Addis Ababa with Raila were busy bodies who expect expensive reciprocity from Odinga during next campaigns in 2027.
Asked by his hosts why he thinks they(politicians) are hypocrites, Mr. Muluka explained that, all along, Raila has hangers-on who pretent to offer him moral support during difficult times but, in real sense and return, ask much from him.
Raila lost AUC election to Djibouti candidate Mahmoud Youssouf Ali. On the other hand, Madagascar’s candidate Richard Randriamandrato was first to be thrown out.
Though the exercise was a tight contest.
