Saturday, September 3, 2022 –Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has called on Twitter Company to suspend the handle of an international human Rights organisation for pushing the Supreme Court to validate William Ruto’s victory.

Through his social media platforms, the vocal lawyer took-on the purported human rights agency(International Human Rights Foundation IHRF) for continuously supporting William Ruto as the validly-elected head of State despite the ongoing court case whose verdict will be delivered on Monday September 5.

“Kenya did Presidential Elections. Its validity is pending judgment from Supreme Court. An NGO calling itself International Human Rights Foundation @Declaracion has taken partisan side. Kindly check its legitimacy. We suspect it to be a troll farm,” Kipkorir appealed to Twitter owners.

He went ahead to narrate how Kenyans voted and contested the results as declared by Wafula Chebukati at Bomas of Kenya but instead of the IHFR waiting for the court’s ruling on Monday, it is already busy preaching a Ruto presidency on the people of Kenya.

“#IHFR, your biased obsession with Kenya’s Presidential Elections is suspect & violates the concept of “Human Rights” which you have fraudulently appropriated. The essence of Human Rights is the observance of the Rule of Law,” he said.

The organization would then respond saying respecting Kenyan law cannot always mean not supporting William Ruto.

“Respected Sir Donald B Kipkorir, We take note of your exercise of freedom of expression. Please double check our position on this matter: we respect Kenyan law and institutions. We defend the president-elect’s right to govern. We will respect any decision of the Supreme Court,” it answered.

Korir reaction was triggered by the fact that the purported human Rights agency today Saturday September 3 morning wrote on its walls how Raila Odinga did not produce enough evidence in court that could overturn William Ruto’s victory.

“#Kenya Latest news reports confirm the lack of evidence to support the opposition’s petitions regarding the scrutiny procedure. Apparently, allegations may arise from unfamiliarity with the technology, with no interference in the outcome. #WilliamRuto will be the 5th president,” IHFR tweeted.

All these were happening as the seven judges of the Supreme Court retreated to their boardroom to prepare a long-awaited final ruling over the same.
