Thursday, September 1, 2022 –Giant social media Twitter has alerted its users about the introduction of the long-awaited extra button.
Twitter, today Thursday Sept ,1 announced that it is already testing the edit button to see how it works and said to clients not to overthink about the move.
For instance, Twitter Blue is available in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. On Thursday, September 1, through official handle, the social media company underlined that it was still testing the new feature with the test limited to one country.
“If you see an edited Tweet it’s because we’re testing the edit button this is happening and you’ll be okay,” it updated its handle.
This feature will allow users to edit posts not longer than 30-minutes after publishing; but still able for their followers to see prior version of the post.
Twitter has been avoiding the editing button for many years because this messaging App is instant and any attempt to change a tweet could mislead those who had already commented on it or retweeted.
