Monday, September 5, 2022 –Political analyst Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has slammed outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta for playing Raila Odinga in the guise of planning to hand him easy power.
A visibly agitated Ngunyi who took to his popular Twitter handle on Monday September 5 afternoon opined how it is sad that Uhuru could take Raila for-granted despite the age factor.
He argued that Uhuru deliberately and secretly disabled all the State machinery popularly known as ‘the Deep State’ so as to hand Ruto an easy and free ride into the Statehouse.
“MAYBE Raila was a DECOY. And Uhuru’s plan all ALONG was to hand over to Ruto. I say so because Uhuru acted SUB-OPTIMALLY in this election. He handed over his constituency to Ruto without a FIGHT. Then he DISABLED the deep state. Was this the Kumi-Kumi” PLAN?” he wrote.
On her part, Ms Martha Karua said, though, the court had spoken its last word, she was yet to accept the explanation given.
“The court has spoken. I respect but disagree with the findings,” she said.
