Uhuru Kenyatta’s ‘photocopy’ handed a brand new car[Photos]

Michael Njogo Gitonga, a photocopy of President Uhuru Kenyatta, has allegedly been gifted a brand new car courtesy of Maridady Motors in Nairobi.

The famous President Uhuru Kenyatta look-alike and who has been trending now for the third week, received the surprise on Thursday August 13 morning.

Online reports were told that Mr. Michael Gitonga was reportedly invited by the city motor dealers located along Kiambu Road and asked to pick a car of his choice. He then went for that which he could afford to fuel and maintain.

Sources told us that the viral Gitonga was accompanied by one of the Churchill show comedian Prof Hermo who also works at Hot 96 when he went to pick the sleek car.

Gitonga shot into the limelight after his photo was taken by one of his friends and posted online where netizens accepted that actually he was an Uhuru Kenyatta replica. Some called for a DNA to prove his paternal.

Since going viral he has been moving from one media station to another to shade more light on his exact origin.

He even talked about his diseased mother having been a security officer in Gatundu Constituency where President Uhuru Kenyatta, by coincidence, also hails from.

Kenyatta is however yet to comment to the matter or if he is the one who has bought the car for Gitonga – this is yet to be reported.

On Inooro Tv, Gitonga confessed having never come close to the president of Kenya and people associating him to the head of State was affecting him a lot.

“I cannot walk out of this estate without people asking me for handouts, I have suffered with this name,” he told the publication adding that it confuses him even more because he cannot understand why he looks like Kenyatta.

He is a father of three according to his own words.
