Friday, March 18, 2022 –President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday made an impromptu stopover at the famous New Kenyatta Market for his favourite Nyama Choma bite.
The place owned by one Peter Mwangi has been operational for now four decades with Uhuru making his third stop at the place. Last time Uhuru was at the same place he showed up with Nairobi Senator Johnston Sakaja and ex-Governor Mike Sonko.
“Ukimletea pilipili yeke usikatekate mletee kakiwa mzima mzima,” Mwangi who is the owner divulged how Uhuru likes it served.
Now named as Ikulu Ndogo or small State house, members of the public throng the spot to eat the meal which their president also likes most.
Ikulu Ndogo eatery is situated opposite Mbagathi Hospital at Kenyatta Market along Ngong Road.
On Wednesday March 16 the president stopped at the joint after he had done with his Azimio la Umoja popularization tour around the city.
The president always makes his way to Ikulu Ndogo eatery while driving himself to reduce commotion and anxiety from other patrons,
