Tuesday, February 22, 2022 –Garissa Township Legislator Aden Duale has appealed to President Uhuru Kenyatta to not spill the beans on Deputy President William Ruto during the scheduled Sagana 3 convention.
In his latest interview on Citizen Tv, MP Duale said it will not be possible that Uhuru would go to an extend of revealing intricate details on his deputy despite the fallout.
He argued that he has severally tried to confront Kenyatta on the matter but the head of State never told him anything on Ruto.
“Uhuru Kenyatta will never do so, I know him. It is just agenda being pushed by political brokers like David Murathe (Jubilee Vice Chairman),” the MP added to opine.
He said it is only politicians allied to Uhuru who are pushing the narrative so that to trigger him to reveal more on his deputy.
Duale instead said Uhuru will only share a lot on Ruto with Raila Odinga in private and not in public meetings because they also have a lot of president’s secretes which they could also decide to share out.
“Personally, I never got a response. Whether it will be during the Sagana 3 or elsewhere, it would be lawfully sound for Uhuru to tell him (Raila) on what really happened,” the former Majority leader noted.
Ruto’s team seem unsettled with the forthcoming Sagana Lodge meeting where the president will be meeting thousands of leaders fetched from across the vote rich Mt Kenya Region. Uhuru is also expected to use the opportunity to revive his Jubilee Party and galvanize the region for Raila’s Azimio.
