Jubilee Party continues to be dogged by challenges as another mega scandal hits the heart of its top leadership.
Jubilee Vice chairman David Murathe is the latest person to be dragged into the sh 4 billion scandal at Kemsa for purchase of Covid-19 medical equipment.
To disclose this news was Blogger Robert Alai who first twitted that the real person behind the scandal was David Murathe’s personal assistant whose mobile number at the registrar 0716340835 belongs to Wilbroad Gatei Gachoka and who is the wife to Murathe’s long time personal assistant who owns Kiliq Limited.
Earlier in the week, Daily Nation started by linking the company to a senior politician in the country and who has been condemning corruption with highest voice.
According to the publication, the politician has been securing multibillion government tenders and selling them to the highest bidder.
How David Murathe has found himself here will remain a shock to Kenyans who know how he has been at the forefront fighting corruption in the country, and in many instances, accused Deputy President William Ruto for being the most corrupt man that the president will never leave power to.
The tide has been turned and the stage has now been set for Investigating agencies to swing into action and apprehend anyone who will be found culpable and involved in the sh 4 billion Kemsa irregular tenders.
By the time of going to the press, Mr. Murathe who is also a long time buddy to President Uhuru Kenyatta was yet to reply to this accusations.
