Sunday, February 6, 2022 –Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has invited Raila Odinga into their One Kenya Alliance OKA which he has described as the fastest growing political outfit in the country.
Demystifying the myth that he had issued conditions for him to join Azimio la Umoja Movement, Kalonzo stated that he is not a person who issues conditions as was today quoted in the dailies.
In the papers, Mr. Musyoka was claimed to have asked Hon. Raila Odinga to offer him the running mate slot for him to join Azimio Movement.
The Wiper Party boss was speaking this in a stopover rally he held at Huruma in Nairobi on Sunday February 6.
“In the newspapers today, you saw that they wrote that OKA alliance issued some demands for us to join Azimio.
“I am not a person who wants anything from anyone. The leadership of the government is given by God. Therefore I want to tell them that they are welcome to OKA and not OKA joining them,” he stated.
This news saw Kalonzo criticized by leaders from his backyard among them Makueni County Governor Kivutha Kibwana who tweeted saying Kalonzo has no moral authority to lecture to anyone what he wants.
“As Chairperson of the South Eastern Economic Bloc (SEKEB), and my two governor colleagues & the Ukambani people, we welcome OKA into Azimio.
“The grand vision is genuine unity to save and prosper Kenya, not to share positions. Let the new entrants honour the early Azimio birds,” Governor Kivutha stated.
The Wiper leader told residents of Huruma that he was the best person to take over from Uhuru Kenyatta.
He urged them to support his bid so that to make his journey to Statehouse easy and successful.
