Thursday, July 28, 2022 –Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi was left shocked after a Kenya Kwanza candidate emerged with outrageous remarks that seemed to be going against their political expectations.
The aspirant who first identified himself as Bernard Nandieki and who is eying the Parliamentary seat for Nambale Constituency in Busia County left the people confused after he asked locals to vote him but also vote Azimio la Umoja into power on August 9.
“Kwa majina naitwa Bernard Nandieki. Nitakua Member of Parliament for Nambale Constituency. Naomba mpigie Azimio kura,” he addressed.
Though many would say this was a slip of the tongue, it should not be lost that just a few months ago at the same place, a different candidate also did the same thing in the presence of Deputy President William Ruto.
It remains a hard puzzle to unravel how two adults from the same place could champion for Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition in a rally organised by Kenya Kwanza and which they belong to.
