Wednesday, July 12, 2022 –A video has surfaced showing a visibly angry Deputy President William Ruto scold a youth during his weekend Vihiga County rally.
In the video clip which has been trending the whole day, Ruto who is addressing multitudes of supporters can be seen stopping a random supporter from interfering with his meeting.
He goes ahead to gesture harshly at the young man asking him to leave the rally if he cannot keep quite like the rest of the people there.
This was happening in the absence of Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi who was supposed to host the team leader.
“Tuwe na heshima. Kama kuna mtu ametumwa hapa kuja kuharibu mkutano mseme sahii hivi mapema ama muondoke kwa hii mkutano. Mnataka Sloya aondoke? Basi nyamazani atapata nafasi aongee.
“Na wewe kijana wacha kunijibu, unanijibu kama nani? Kama umeleta kisirani kwa hii mkutano utoke. Huwezi kuja hapa kuharibu mkutano.(Let us have respect. If anyone has been sent here to cause chaos at our meeting, reveal yourself early or just quit),” Ruto furiously fired.
Earlier on, the was on record warning that he would not allow anybody to interfere with their program through heckling.
A source which reached to us, further noted that the second in command got enraged more when rival groups allied to ANC Vihiga gubernatorial candidate Alfred Agoi and his UDA Sabatia Parliamentary candidate Clement Sloya started engaging in a supremacy battle.
