Thursday, June 9, 2022 –Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudvadi has expressed his displeasure with William Ruto’s style of leadership.
In a video which Homenews.co.ke has seen circulate on social media, a visibly angry Mudavadi can be seen complaining about DP William Ruto fielding candidates in Western Region where he should be left to have only ANC candidates.
He goes forward to give an example of Surgoi where Ruto comes from and asks supporters if any ANC candidate can be elected there.
Speaking in his complete Maragoli dialect, the cornered Mudavadi goes ahead to urge Luhya community not to elect any UDA candidate for MP or Member of County Assembly MCA.
Our source explained that the brief footage was recorded during a night rally held in Sabatia Vihiga County where Mudavadi also comes from.
The ANC Party boss seemed to be complaining about the conduct of the deputy president in their alliance saying the flag bearer was taking them for granted.
“Let me ask you this since we are in a coalition with Ruto, we are all at the top of the government. But let me ask you, are the people from Sugoi going to elect a Member of Parliament from ANC Party?” Mudavadi questioned his supporters who responded with ‘No’.
The former Vice president now wants Ruto to immediately desist from fielding UDA politicians in Western Region.
His sentiments comes barely a month after Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala also issued a similar warning against Ruto while holding a rally somewhere in Mumias subcounty.
