Wednesday, May 11, 2022 –Deputy President William Samoei Ruto was today spotted serving pupils food during lunch hours.
He visited Mukarara Primary School in Dagoretti South Nairobi where he had taken his Kenya Kwanza campaigns alongside fellow leaders allied to his camp.
While at the school, the second in command clad like a cook, took over duty to serve children the lunch that comprised ugali and sukuma wiki .
“The school feeding programme at Mukarara Primary School in Dagoretti South Constituency is evidence that we can keep all our children in school. No child should be out of school for lack of food. That is our commitment as Kenya Kwanza,” the DP stated.
Ruto who is known to make all manner of stunts while on political tours again today left mixed reaction from all quarters after the video and photos went viral.
“Lang’ata primary will never go away. It shall never be forgotten..,” Stephen Ndungu reacted to the video in reference to teargassing incident that exposed Ruto’s cruelty a couple of years back.
Others praised his socialization skills which is not always possible with politicians of his level.
