Sunday, March 20, 2022 -Nominated Senator Beatrice Kwamboka almost broke herself after she fell off a car rooftop during their Saturday Azimio la Umoja rally in Embakasi.
She had been called upon to address when she climbed on the rooftop of George Aladwa’s campaign car and while wid-way with her speech, she was tempted to make a move only to miss a step and fell with a thud on the ground.
Luckily she was not severely injured and managed to come back to complete her speech as Aladwa and other MPs consoled her with ‘sorry, pole sana’ words.
Raila Odinga’s Azimio brigade toured Makadara and later Embakasi, where they held a series of mega rallies in Raila Odinga’s absentia. The team took turns to castigate DP William Ruto and his brigade led by Moses Kuria on alleged inflammatory remarks against Raila Odinga’s Luo community.
They asked MP Moses Kuria to respect Luos and their culture especially this time of elections.
