Vietnam has Executed Over 500 Lives Including Americans and Their own. It’s Tough

Chris Akali

The Kenyan facing execution charges in Vietnam, Margaret Nduta Macharia, found herself in problems after a certain man by the name of Njoroge tasked her with a bag she hardly knew carried drugs.

She would then be found in possession of  things she hardly had knowledge about. Yes, in law we call this ignorance which has no defense.

But even as law is important in Vietnam, equally, it is important here. Vietnam should consider bringing us back our Nduta alive so that we can deal with her through a home-made solution.

Vietnam must understand that we are not going to set free Nduta. She will be processed here at home and the law will take it’s course.

Have done some research about laws in Vietnam and noticed they are very strict, especially, on drugs and economic crimes. That nation has executed over 500 lives including their own.

Interestingly, world’s super power U.S.A has also lost nationals in Vietnam. So Nduta’s case could be complicated but there is always that one case that can be treated different and Vietnam will see the sense of stopping that retrogressive law of hanging lives. An alternative of hanging could be life sentence. We do this here in Kenya.
