Votes Ruto got From Atwoli’s Home

Thursday, August 11, 2022 –Deputy President William Ruto got 5,201 votes from Khwisero Constituency where Central Organisation of Trade Union COTU Boss Francis Atwoli comes from.

In the IEBC tally data seen by Homenews.co.ke on Thursday August 11, Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya flagbearer, Raila Odinga, managed to run away with a chunk of votes to the tune of 27,997 in an exercise that took place on Tuesday August 9.

Khwisero subcounty in found in Kakamega County and neighbours Vihiga where Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi was born.

And in the latest voting data computation, Atwoli managed to carry 83.6 percent of votes to Azimio la Umoja; compared to Mudavadi who gave William Ruto 76.8 percent of votes from Vihiga County.

It is apparent that Azimio parties dominated Western part of the country if the results provided by the electoral body is anything to go by.

For instance in Vihiga County where Mudavadi comes from, most of those elected are in Orange Democratic Alliance ODM Party whose founder is Raila Odinga.

Musalia is supposed to deliver 70 percent of Western votes to Ruto’s vote basket to be able to get 30 percent share in government they are going to make should they win power.

This is according to the agreement between him and the United Democratic Alliance UDA Party leader, William Ruto.
