The High Court of Kenyan is this morning expected to rule on whether or not Ferdinand Ndung’u Waititu and his wife Susan Wangari Ndung’u will forfeit to the State their assets worth Ksh 2 billion.
The said assets, EACC believes, were acquired through theft of public funds when Mr. Waititu served as the Governor of Kiambu County between 2017 and 2020.
The two suspects were unable to explain to EACC how they acquired the assets, prompting the Commission to file the forfeiture suit. Judgement to be delivered by Justice Prof (Dr) Nixon Sifuna.
