Tuesday, August 23, 2022 –Justina Wamae has asked her Party leadership to take back any car and preferential treatment which it had offered her during the campaign period.
Ignoring a summon sent to her yesterday Monday August 22 morning by the party’s top brass, the vocal running mate said she will not waste her time meeting any committee member in the party to respond to their fictitious accusations.
She went ahead to describe her boss as a ‘petty man’ whose only agenda was now about trivialities that also led to their recent loss in election.
She defended herself from any wrong accusations saying whatever she had said to the media about Wajackoyah was not on behalf of the party but her personal views.
“I will not respond to pettiness!
“But on the non-existent accommodation and car you imagined you assisted me with, you can withdraw in your dreams. It is your party, do what you deem fit, I will soldier on,” Wamae reiterated.
Ms Wamae and Wajackoyah have been publicly trading barbs as well as washing their dirty linen in public; a development that started immediately after losing the recent election by coming a distant third.
“You have associated yourself with our opponents and advocated for their ideologies. Due to your misrepresentation of the party’s stand, it has differed public ridicule and disrepute,” the lawyer stated in the summon.
She has since expressed her desire to free herself from the Roots Party and chant her new political path going forward.
The ex-running mate recently congratulated the President-elect William Ruto for performing well in the recently concluded election.
