Tuesday, August 6, 2024 –DAP-Kenya Party has lambasted Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga for rescuing President William Ruto from angry Kenyans.

In his Tuesday August 6 statement, Lawyer Eugene Wamalwa asked Odinga the rationale of rushing to rescue Ruto from Kenyans instead of rescuing Kenyans from Ruto.

“Instead of rescuing Kenya from the Murderous Ruto Regime, we rescue Ruto’s Corrupt Regime and boast about it? How does Azimio then continue Opposing a government that it is assisting? It’s Untenable and tantamount to running with the hare and hunting with the hounds,” posed the former Defence Cabinet Secretary.

Yesterday while touring Toi Market following the killer inferno that left many traders helpless, Mr. Odinga narrated the intrigues that led to him joining the current government.

Odinga explained, for the first time that, Ruto’s administration came kneeling before him as youths went on rampage over poor leadership.

ODM leader said he saved Ruto’s govt from imminent collapse by donating, atleast, four allies to the new-look Cabinet.

According to Odinga, the four are able professionals with proven track record who will help turn things around in a short time.
