Wanjigi Poke Holes in Uhuru-Raila Handshake

Monday, October 25, 2021 –Businessman-turned-politician Jimmy Wanjingi has poked holes into the Uhuru-Raila handshake saying it has killed their ODM Party.

Addressing supporters in Kathageri Embu County last Sunday, the fire-breathing Wanjigi castigated Mr. Odinga for poor leadership of their party which he said has turned into a personal property marred by incompetency as well as compromise. He termed such actions as pure conman-ship informed by the March 18 Handshake.

“I can say categorically that this is not ODM. This is ODM of conmanship that has come in. This conmanship and pride has come in after shaking hands with UhuRuto,” said Mr. Wanjigi.

He has warned that should Odinga fail to change the way things are being run in their party, there is high possibility of the entire party falling down under its own weight.

He wondered how Odinga accepted to shake hands with his enemies in Jubilee government when its in black and white that they had played a big role in failing this country for the two terms they have been in power.

He added that the most regretful move Odinga made was to shake hands with people who have plunged this country into economic confusion through runaway corruption

“Those who have caused the country to crumble economically are now saying that they are supporting my party leader. That is not possible,” said the the tycoon.

The tycoon is seeking to topple Odinga from ODM top office so that he can carry the flag of the party in the 2022 contest that will pit ODM against William Ruto’s UDA.
