Friday, October 1, 2021 -Police today raided a house in Isiolo County and recovered a cache of ammunition alongside other dangerous weapons.
Sleuths on Friday October 1 received a reliable tip off from a member of the community and stormed the house at the crack of dawn managing to recover three AK 47 assault rifles, one Mark rifle, 203 rounds of 7.62X39mm special callibre and nine AK-47 magazines.
The recovery of the deadly weaponry was made a success through the tip off prompting police to raid the residence situated in the outskirts of Kinna Town in Isiolo.
“A cache of firearms and ammunition has this morning been recovered by police officers based in Garbatulla, Isiolo County. Three AK-47 assault rifles, one Mark4 rifle, 203 rounds of 7.62X39mm special callibre and nine AK-47 magazines were recovered in the 5am raid,” DCI made the confirmation on Twitter.
In the room also were six stones of cannabis sativa and two numberless motorcycles, suspected to be their means of transport.

Luckily, two suspects named Abdi Guyo 35 and Amina Mohamed 30 were arrested and are currently held by police.
Reports have it that detectives at Garbatulla are currently grilling the two suspects who could also be either assassins, terrorists or thugs.
