Friday, March 25, 2022 –Outspoken Bungoma County Senator Moses Wetang’ula has refuted rumors that he had a meeting with Opposition leader Raila Odinga in a city hotel on Friday morning.
Through a social media statement he posted on Friday March 25 afternoon, Wetang’ula clarified that he has been very busy organizing his party ahead of the forthcoming nominations.
He went ahead to state that he was not planning to rejoin Odinga anytime soon as it is being peddled by rumour mongers on the streets.
“I have had a busy moment at Ford Kenya party Headquarters receiving, advising, and encouraging our candidates in preparation for party primaries. Kenya Kwanza is the valid dream and hope for Kenya under the leadership of Ruto and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi,” he stated.

About his meeting with Odinga to join Azimio la Umoja, the senator said he might only be missing his ally Kalonzo Musyoka and perhaps that is the only leader he can have a talk with so that to lure him into their Kenya Kwanza.
Dennis Itumbi would then surface to defend Wetangula saying the legislator was intact in their coalition with zero plans to switch camps.
“Moses Masika Wetang’ula is firm with the Hustler Nation securing the promise of Kenya Kwanza. Let them continue with their rumors. If you see them, just tell them, even lying requires a little knowledge,” Itumbi stated.
Kalonzo recently promised to follow up the Wetang’ula matter with intentions of persuading him to dump Ruto for Raila.
“I miss Wetang’ula because I have suffered and struggled with him. So don’t be surprised if he joins me. I pray every day and night for Wetang’ula to leave Kenya Kwanza and join Azimio La Umoja,” Kalonzo said a couple of days ago.
Similar sentiments had been shared by Wetang’ula who has not once mentioned Kalonzo as a relatable comrade with whom they still have an unfinished business together.
