Leaders gathered at Jacaranda Ground in Nairobi on Saturday March 12.

He added that he will not be regretting his move because he believes Raila will not let down the nation on the covenant they have been having for their supporters.

“Na kwa mara ya tatu na sema Raila Tosha (for the third time, I have agreed to back Raila),” stated Kalonzo.

Addressing masses of people at Jacaranda Ground today Saturday, the Wiper Party boss also revealed he had to consider the age factor between him and Mr. Odinga.

“Kusema kweli, mimi nilikuwa tayari kabisa, na nadhani bado niko tayari. Lakini tunaangalia umri (To be honest I was ready and I still think I am read. However, we looked at the age factor).

“Ndugu Raila tumetoka mbali, tumekula teargas. Tulianza LDP, alafu ODM Kenya, NARC, CORD hadi NASA… Kwa roho safi, Raila Amollo Odinga tosha!

“Today we have formed a grand coalition named Azimio-One Kenya and we have three key pillars; Jubilee’s pillar, OKA pillar and ODM’s pillar,” he added.

On his part, President Uhuru Kenyatta thanked Mr. Musyoka for making that bold decision and acknowledged his selflessness for the sake of this nation.

“Kalonzo has decided to set aside his own ambitions because of our country, Kenya, please let us acknowledge him for that because that is bravery. We thank him very much,” the president stated.

Taking to the podium, Mr. Odinga thanked the Wiper Party leader for shelving his 2022 ambitions so that to join forces with the rest of the country in deciding the next leadership of this nation.
